The first wedding reception at The Longhouse was mine and Flora's in October 2005. I can still remember all the work we had to put into getting everything ready including writing my speech an hour before the wedding service, what was I thinking!? We wanted to have something very personal to us apart of being in the very lucky position of having such a new and beautiful venue.
Flora made her wedding dress in the summer holidays (she's a teacher) . We collected sunflowers from a local farmer for the table decorations and our friends played for the evening entertainment as a wedding present. We are now the proud parents of two daughters Polly and Isla.
