We have planted over 4000 trees in the 24 years Mill on the Brue has been owned and managed by Tricia, Tony and Matt Rawlingson Plant. When the family first came to Trendle Farm the land had been either sprayed with chemicals or burnt or both. Immediately we set about organically fertilizing the fields with our own rare breed sheep. Since then we've planted 109 types of tree and attract a large and varied amount of wildlife to 20 acre estate.

The gardens have been designed to provide a wonderful backdrop of colour in any season.

The Longhouse was specifically designed to make use of the beautiful scenery looking down across the top of some of the trees to the river Brue.
